Corvette of the MonthMichael Pierce looks at the 1963 Corvette "Rondine" Concept, which sold for $1,760,000 at Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale auction on January 19. Certain historically-significant 'Vettes fetch millions, but this car was more of a specialty investment filed under the "styling" car category. This was a high price to pay, but time will determine the quality of the buy.

Bloomington Gold tours announced that recently retired GM Corvette Plant Manager, Wil Cooksey, will lead 200 'Vettes on a 100-mile tour along "the Mother Road" set for June 5-7.
